Preston Tarter pitched 7 innings in the Gators' split of a doubleheader this past Saturday at No. 10 Cal Poly Pomona. In the Gators' 3-2 loss in game one of the doubleheader on Saturday, he came in relief and pitched 1.2 innings, giving up just one hit on 13 pitches. He then picked up his second win the Gators' 1-0 win in the night cap, pitching 5.1 scoreless innings, giving up three hits, walking three and striking out two.
