Box Score HAYWARD, Calif.---- SF State women's soccer team snapped its two-game losing streak this afternoon with a 1-0 CCAA road win at Cal State East Bay. With the win, the Gators recorded their 8
th shutout of the season and improved to 7-3-1 overall and 5-3-1 in the CCAA.

Kaitlin Dick off a great cross from
Kiley Williams,” said SF State Head Coach
Jack Hyde. “Playing on the turf shows us how well we can play.”
SF State had a chance to take the lead early in the first half, but
Nicole Smith's shot was blocked by the Pioneer defense in the third minute.
Nicole Vanni had two chances to give the Gators the lead, but one went wide and the other was blocked in the fifth minute.
Cal State East Bay (3-7-1, 2-6-1 CCAA) had three chances to take the lead in the first half, but all three were stopped by the Gators'
Annicia Jones to send the game into the half with a scoreless tie.
The Gators came out strong in the second half and took the lead in the 47
th minute as
Kaitlin Dick connected on a header off a corner kick by Williams.
The Pioneers had two chances late in the game to tie the game, but Jones recorded two of her season high 8 saves as SF State held on for the 1-0 victory.
SF State will continue its brief two-game road trip as the Gators travel down south for a 2pm match with Cal Poly Pomona in Pomona this Sunday. The Broncos defeated Cal State Monterey Bay 1-0 earlier this afternoon. Cal Poly Pomona and the Gators played to a scoreless tie earlier this season in San Francisco.
