"We were in the game for 30 minutes, but we cannot hit a shot either from the field or from the line," said SF State Head Coach Paul Trevor.  "We competed hard defensively, but we need to play a whole game."

Besides Laudermill and Adams' 13 points, Tre Brewer and Juan Martinez each added 10 points for the Coyotes, who held SF State to just 37% shooting from the field.  Cal State San Bernardino (6-3, 5-1 CCAA) shot 55% from the field including 60% in the second half.

The Gators' bench outscored the Coyotes 28-27 with Albright leading the way with his 13 points.  The junior transfer was 6 of 12 from the field while grabbing four rebounds and recording three steals.  SF State forced 18 turnovers by the Coyotes including recording a season high 13 steals led by Tyler Brown's career high four.

The hosts once again built a double digit lead as Pabloe Genevo's free throw capped a 9-1 run by the Coyotes to increase their lead to 28-15 with 2:40 left in the half.  The Gators would not go away with David Love's lay-up ending a 6-1 run by the visitors to decrease the Coyotes' lead to 29-21 heading into the locker room.

In the first seven minutes of the second stanza, the Gators cut Cal State San Bernardino's lead to five including 48-43 on a jumper by Albright at the 13:05 mark of the second half.  SF State (2-9, 0-5 CCAA) could not get any closer as the Coyotes went on a 13-1 run to increase their lead back to double digits (61-44) in the next five minutes a lead they would not relinquish.

Kwame Alexander's two made free throws with 49 seconds left in regulation gave the Coyotes their largest lead of the game, 73-52.  Albrights' jumper on the Gators' next possession made the final 73-54 Coyotes.
