Box Score SAN FRANCISCO—The visiting Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes outscored the SF State Gators 39-30 in the second half and held them to just 35% shooting in the second stanza to key their 67-60 road CCAA victory this evening at The Swamp on SF State's campus. Tre Brewer led the way for the Coyotes (10-6, 9-4 CCAA).

Robbie Herndon and
Griffin Reilly each paced the Gators with 15 points. SF State (4-15, 2-11 CCAA) out-rebounded the Coyotes 44-39.
The Coyotes jumped out to a 10-2 lead in the first six minutes of the game and increased that lead to 19-6 lead on Brewer's dunk at the 10:38 mark.
The Gators came back and finished the half outscoring the Coyotes 24-9 to take a 30-28 lead going into the locker room. Herndon had 10 of his 15 points in the first half, connecting on two three's.
Cal State San Bernardino retook the lead early in the second half as the Coyotes opened the half with a 9-2 run to take a 37-32 lead on a three by Brewer. The visitors increased their lead to 57-41 with 4:34 to go in the game.
The Gators did not give up as they went on a 17-7 run to cut the deficit to 64-58 on a three by Reilly with just 27 seconds left in regulation. That is the closest the Gators could get as the Coyotes held on for a 67-60 victory.
SF State will return home this Saturday, January 28 at 7:30pm, when the Gators host UC San Diego. The Tritons lost 58-50 to Cal Poly Pomona this evening in Pomona.
