Box Score SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. --- Nefi Perdomo scored a career high 30 points including 6 points in the overtime period to key the SF State Gators 82-75 overtime win over the visiting Humboldt State Lumberjacks. With the loss, the Lumberjacks drop to 17-6 overall and 13-6 in the CCAA and fall into a tie for second place with Cal Poly Pomona.

Paul Trevor. “He was very unselfish and was a leader out on the court.” “We received a great team effort from everyone as it was a well balanced team game. “
Besides Perdomo's 30 points, the Gators received 14 points from
James Albright. Perdomo also had six assists and two steals while going a perfect 11-for-11 from the charity stripe.
Humboldt State held a 22-14 lead with 7:36 left in the first half, but the Gators ended the half outscoring their visitors 23-14 to take a 37-36 lead into the locker room at the half.
The second half went back and forth with the Gators holding a 60-54 advantage on a
James Albright three at the 10:05 mark.
The Lumberjacks cut the Gator lead to 62-60 on two made free throws by Scott Clark with 8:00 to go in regulation, but the hosts increased their lead to 67-62 on a lay-up by
Tyler Brown.
Humboldt State went on a 5-0 run and tied the game at 67-67 on a Randy Hunter tip-in with 3:40 left on the clock. The Lumberjacks took the lead on a Scott Clark jumper one minute later, but the Gators' Perdomo was fouled on their next possession to tie the game a 69-69 with 2:18 on the clock.
The Gators' defense forced the Lumberjacks into a missed shot and Perdomo drained a three to give the hosts a brief 72-69 lead with a little over 1:40 to go in the game. Then with 50 seconds to go, Clark drained the Lumberjacks' only three of the game to tie the game at 72-72.
SF State had a chance to take the lead, but its shot attempt missed to give the ball back to the visitors. Then with the clock winding down,
Max Fodor drew an offensive foul on the Lumberjacks to send the game into overtime.
In the overtime, Perdomo gave the Gators a brief 74-72 lead and then Hunter tied the game at 74-74 on the visitors' next possession with 3:34 left in overtime.
Robbie Herndon's lay-up gave the hosts a 74-72 lead, a lead they would not relinquish.
SF State (8-17, 6-13 CCAA) finished the game going 6-for-6 from the charity stripe down the stretch as the Gators held on for the 82-75 conference victory.
The Gators' bench outscored the Lumberjacks 23-17 led by Herndon's 9 points.

SF State will continue its season ending four-game home stand this Saturday, February 18 at 7:30pm, when the Gators host Sonoma State at the Swamp. Sonoma State defeated Cal Poly Pomona 60-53 this evening in Pomona.
