Box Score TURLOCK, Calif. – SF State outscored Cal State Stanislaus 22-12 in the final seven minutes of this evening's CCAA game to key its 80-73 come-from-behind win over the Warriors this evening in Turlock, Calif. The Gators now have won six of their last seven games including their last four in a row to improve to 6-3 overall and 4-1 in the CCAA.

Calvin Otiono had a very good game for us.”
Otiono led the way for the Gators with 19 points and also had five rebounds and two assists in the visitors' victory. Overton added 15 points and 6 rebounds for SF State while Tatum had his first double-double as a Gator with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Off the bench, Demmin had a season high 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
Leading the way for Cal State Stanislaus was Marcus Walters with a game high 20 points. The Warriors fall to 4-5 overall and 1-5 in the CCAA.
SF State scored the first eight points of the game capped by an old-fashioned three-point play by
Andre Jones. The hosts came right back and outscored their guests 19-10 in the next seven minutes to take their first lead of the game, 19-18.
The Warriors increased their lead to 24-18 on a Taylor Bell three at the 10:09 mark of the first half, but the Gators tied the game at 24-24 on a lay-up by
Decensae White.
SF State then went on an 8-3 run to take a 32-27 lead. The Warriors came right back with a 11-5 run of their own to take a 38-37 lead with 1:11 left in the half, but
Max Fodor's lay-up gave the Gators a 39-38 lead heading into the locker room.
Cal State Stanislaus' defense stepped up big early in the second half as the Warriors outscored the Gators 9-2 in the first six minutes of the new half to take a 47-41 lead.
SF State kept on inching back and took a 58-56 lead on a three by Otiono at the 8:39 mark of the second half.
The Warriors' Walters connected on a three with 7:01 to give the hosts a 60-59 lead, the last lead they would hold in the game.
On the Gators' next possession, Tatum connected on a lay-up and then the Gators held the Warriors scoreless and
Robbie Herndon hit a three to increase the visitors' lead to 63-59 with 5:23 on the clock.
SF State increased its lead to double digits (75-62) with a little fewer than two minutes to go as the Gators cruised to an 80-73 victory. They connected on five of their seven attempts from the line down the stretch to key their victory. The Gators finished the evening going 26 of 32 from the line with Demmin going 8-for-9 and Tatum connecting on six of his eight attempts.
The Gators will return to the court tomorrow evening in Chico, Calif., for a 7:30pm scheduled conference game with the Chico State Wildcats. The Wildcats defeated Sonoma State 82-65 this evening in Chico.
