Gators to host long ball Lumberjacks

SAN FRANCISCO --- Coming off a break from California Collegiate Athletic Association action, SF State returns to conference action taking on the current CCAA leader, Humboldt State. The Gators will look to keep the conference's top home run hitting team under check as they try to shake off the split against Dominican University on Sunday. The four-game series begins Friday at 1 p.m. with the second leg starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

All four games will feature live stats found at http://www.sidearmstats.com/sfsu/softball/xlive.htm.

Head-to-Head
Last year, SF State dropped three of the five contests against the Lumberjacks. Humboldt State won the first game 12-6 in the Best of the West Invitational and took the first two games of the four-game CCAA series in Arcata, Calif., 5-3 and 10-3. The Gators rebounded the next day by taking the final leg 14-12 and 9-3 for the doubleheader sweep.
