Box Score San Francisco -- The SF State women's volleyball team could not back up their impressive performance from a night earlier, which saw the Gators defeat the seventh ranked team in the nation.  Instead, the Gators feel to visiting Humboldt State (4-4/2-2 CCAA) in four sets, 3-1 (17-25, 16-25, 25-22, and 19-25).

The Gators (4-5/2-2 CCAA) lost the first two sets after taking an early lead in both.  Coming out of the intermission the Gators relied on the play of outside hitter Bria Morgan who led the Gators in kills in the set.  In the final set the Gators battled the Lumberjacks but a four point run late, gave Humboldt State a 19-14 lead that SF State could not overcome.

The Gators will return to action on Friday when they host Cal Poly Pomona at 7:00 p.m. at the SF State Gymnasium at the Don Nasser Family Plaza.
