SAN FRANCISCO – The San Francisco State softball team will make its 2017 debut a few days earlier. With heavy rains in the forecast, Saturday's double header against Academy of Art at Blue Mission Field in Brisbane, Calif., will be moved to Wednesday. First pitch for game one is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. with the second game slated for a 1:00 p.m. start.

Lisa McKinney, the Gators return 14 letter winners from last year, including eight starters. Wednesday's twin billing will feature live stats and can be accessed on the women's softball schedule page.
