SAN FRANCISCO— The San Francisco State baseball and softball teams will likely see changes to their weekend schedules due to predicted inclement weather.
SF State Baseball still plans to play its four-game series over the course of three days at Maloney Field. The doubleheader, originally scheduled for Saturday, March 10, will now be played as two nine-inning games on Friday, March 9 at 11 a.m. There will be a single game on Saturday, March 10 at noon, weather permitting. If Saturday is washed out, the two teams will play a noon doubleheader on Sunday, March 11 with the second game being a seven-inning ballgame.
Over at SFSU Softball Field, the Friday, March 9 doubleheader is still set for a noon first pitch. First pitch of Saturday's doubleheader has been pushed back to noon but if the games cannot be played on Saturday, the doubleheader will be pushed back a day to Sunday, March 11 at noon.
