LEXINGTON, Ky. — San Francisco State volleyball player Bailey Johnson has garnered a 2019 AVCA All-America Honorable Mention.
Johnson led SF State to a 16-11 record and a consecutive CCAA Tournament appearance, where the Gators fell in a five-set match to No. 25 Cal State LA.
The Orlando, Florida native was also an All-West Region Honorable Mention and All-CCAA First Team selection. The 5-foot-11 middle blocker had a standout senior campaign, ranking fifth in the CCAA and 32nd nationally with a .360 hitting percentage, which is currently the second-best hitting mark in program history. The senior finished with a career-best 267 kills and ranks second in program career hitting percentage.
