HAYWARD, California - The San Francsico State men's track & field team broke more personal bests on Saturday at the East Bay Invitational.
Atzin Cardiel ran a 2:12.69 in the 800m. Austin Sanchez paced SF State across the line in the 1500m with a 4:09.19 while Michael Kilgariff ran a 4:11.80. Jacob Garrissere ran a 4:17.51 and Kenith Gonzalez a 4:25.04, and all four marks were personal bests. Austin Magin (4:27.56), Joey Manahan (4:27.71), Isiah Tulio (4:28.82) and Alex Tait (PR 4:29.21) rounded out SF State.Â
In the 4x400, the group of Cardiel, Garrissere, Magin and Sanchez ran a time of 3:54.60 while the quartet of Gonzalez, Manahan, Tait and Tulio crossed in 3:58.58.
In shot put, Kevin Henry tossed an 8.94m in his first time competing in the event while Elias Rosales registered a 7.57m.
