Donisha Tate Recorded Her 5th Consecutive Double-Double This Evening with 23 points and 15 Rebounds

TURLOCK, Calif.---  Cal State Stanislaus Warriors rallied from an 8-point deficit with 5:04 left in regulation to defeat the visiting SF State Gators 53-48 in a California Collegiate Athletic Association game at Warrior Arena in Turlock.  Donisha Tate paced the Gators with a career high 23 points while grabbing 15 rebounds.  This was her eighth double-double of the season and fifth consecutive double-double.

"Turnovers on the road is not a good recipe to win, we failed to close out the game out and Stanislaus played with more passion in the last four minutes of the game," said SF State Head Coach Joaquin Wallace.

The Warriors jumped out to a 10-6 lead in the first seven minutes, but SF State (8-12, 4-8 CCAA) went on a 17-3 run to take a 23-13 lead with 3:12 left in the half.  During that span, Tate scored ten of her 23 points.  In the final 3:12 of the first stanza, Cal State Stanislaus outscored the Gators 7-0 to cut the visitors' lead to 23-20 going into the locker room.

SF State started the second half outscoring its hosts 8-6 to take a 31-26 on a Jessica Hout-Freeman lay-up in the first four minutes.  The Gators increased their lead to 41-32 on a Dominique Hunter lay-up with 10:04 to go in the game.

Tate's free throw with 6:32 on the clock to give the Gators a 44-34, but Cal State Stanislaus outscored SF State 12-1 in the next four minutes to take its first lead of the game, 46-45, on two made free throws by Ebony Mims-Johnson.

The Warriors outscored SF State 7-3 in the final four minutes to give them the 53-48 victory.  Alishea Kelly paced Cal State Stanislaus (5-11, 4-8 CCAA) with 15 points while Christin Gowan chipped in 10 points.
