L. Fidel Medina in the second half to key their conference home win. With the win, the Gators improve to 3-2-2 overall and 2-2-1 in the CCAA.
Eric Scolman recorded four saves in goal en route to his first shutout of the season.

Humboldt State came out strong early in the game but Ray Lind's header was stopped by the Gators'
Eric Scolman. SF State came right back and had two shot attempts either stopped by the Lumberjacks' Kyle Verle or hit the post in the 7
th minute.
The Gators continued their onslaught in the first half as they had 15 shot attempts to their visitors' three, but each team recorded three shot on goal attempts.
SF State continued its attack in the second half and took the lead on
Luis Mendoza's second goal of the season off a ball from
Jose Vitela in the 56
th minute. The Gators doubled their scored in the 72
nd minute as Medina connected on a ball from
Kenny Kim to seal the conference home win for the hosts.
The Gators also recorded 12 corner kicks to Humboldt State's two while Kyle Verle had 7 saves in goal for the Lumberjacks (2-4, 2-3 CCAA).
Scolman, finished with four saves in goal for the Gators, who will host No. 21 Sonoma State this Sun., Sept. 25 at 11:30am.
