SAN FRANCISCO--- The SF State Gators will host two CCAA games this weekend in their conference and home openers of the 2012-13 season. The Gators will face Cal State East Bay this Friday, Nov. 30 at 7:30pm at The Swamp. Then this Saturday, Dec. 1, the Otters of Cal St. Monterey Bay will come to The Swamp for a 7:30pm scheduled game with the Gators.
The Gators are coming off a 2-0 weekend which they captured the Carl's Jr. Mac Martin Invitational. SF State defeated No. 7 Seattle Pacific 60-55 on Friday and UC-Colorado Springs 69-66 on Saturday.
James Albright was named the tournament MVP while
Robbie Herndon and
Calvin Otiono were also selected to the All-Tournament Team.
SF State is 2-2 and is averaging 79.2 points per game while shooting 48.7% from the field including 41% from three-point land.
Robbie Herndon his one of five Gators averaging double digits with his team leading 17.0 scoring average.
Decensae White is right behind him at 15.3 ppg, followed by
Calvin Otiono at 12.5 ppg, William Overton, Jr. at 12.0 ppg and Albright at 10.8 ppg. White is also leading SF State with his 13 assists and 6.0 rebounding average.
