Box Score  SAN FRANCSICO---    Sonoma State Seawolves shot 50% from the field and held the visiting SF State to just 40% shooting to key their 77-61 road conference win at the Swamp on SF State's campus.  Justin Herold led the Seawolves (15-9, 13-7 CCAA) with a game high 18 points while Nefi Perdomo paced the Gators with 17 points.

“Someone else needs to step up and make a play besides Nefi (Perdomo),” said SF State Head Coach Paul Trevor.  “Sonoma State might be playing the best of anyone in the league.”  “I am not disappointed with the loss, but just that we got outplayed.”

The Seawolves jumped out to a 12-4 lead in the first four minutes of the game.  Ashley Arnot's three increased the visitors' lead to 21-10 with 13:06 on the clock in the first half.

The Gators cut the Seawolf lead to 44-34 on an old-fashioned three-point play by David Love in the first two minutes of the second half, but that was as close as SF State could get.

Sonoma State outscored the Gators 15-5 in the next six minutes to increase its lead to 59-39 and the Seawolves then cruised to a 77-61 victory.

Patrick Scott added 14 points for the Seawolves while Sterling Arterberry had 9 points and 8 assists for the visitors.

James Albright and Max Fodor each chipped in 10 points for the Gators, who fall to 8-18 overall and 6-14 in the CCAA.

The Gators will end their regular season with two home games next week.  SF State will host Cal State Dominguez Hills this Wednesday, February 22 and Cal State L.A. this Friday, February 24.  Tip-off for both nights is 7:30pm at the Swamp.  Prior to the Friday evening game, the Gators will recognize both teams' seniors including their own in Chad Delaney, Daniel Trammel, Griffin Reilly and Tyler Brown
