Box Score SAN FRANCISCO--- Cal State L.A. spoiled the SF State Gators' senior night as they hung to win 75-70 at the Swamp in both teams' regular season home finale. Chris Robinson's 22 points, 11-rebound performance led the way for the Golden Eagles (17-9, 13-9 CCAA).

Besides Robinson's performance, Quinton Watkins had 21 points and Carl Hoffman added 17 points off the bench for the visitors. Cal State's L.A. defense held the Gators to just 39% shooting from the field and recorded 11 blocked shots including 9 by Jordan Richard.
Tyler Brown had a career high 14 points and
James Albright also had 14 points to lead the way for the Gators (9-19, 7-15 CCAA).
The first half saw four ties in the first 13 minutes with the last one coming when the Golden Eagles' Watkins hit at three to tie the game at 18-18 with 7:24 left in the half.
Tyler Brown's two made free throws capped a 13-2 run by the hosts as they took their largest lead of the game, 31-20 with 2:50 to go in the first stanza.
Robinson's three with 28 seconds on the clock in the first half cut the Gator lead to 31-28, but
David Love's lay-up as the buzzer sounded put the hosts up 33-28 at the half.
Watkins hit back to back three's to start the second half for the Golden Eagles as they took a 34-33 lead.
SF State outscored the visitors 6-2 in the next two minutes as Albright's dunk gave the hosts a 39-36 lead.
The game went back and forth in the next five minutes
Max Fodor's lay-up tying the game at 44-44 at the 10:30 mark.
Cal State L.A. outscored the Gators 13-5 in the next four minutes to take a 59-47 lead, but the hosts would not go away.
SF State went on a 14-2 run to take a 62-61 lead with 3:14 left, when Fodor connected on a lay-up off an assist from
Nefi Perdomo.
On Cal State L.A.'s next possession, Ryan Wetherell hit a old-fashioned three-point play to give the visitors a 64-62 lead. They increased their lead to 67-62 on a three-by Watkins, but the Gators'
Daniel Trammel hit a three to cut the visitors' lead to 67-65 with 90 seconds on the lock.
Leland Jones gave the hosts a 71-67 lead with a little under a minute to go.
Albright hit one of two free throws to cut the Golden Eagle lead to 71-68, and then the Gators fouled the visitors and they missed the free throw.
Chad Delaney then hit a jumper off an assist from Brown to cut the margin to 72-70 with just 29 seconds to go in regulation.
Watkins was fouled by the Gators and he sunk both free throws to increased their lead to 74-70. The Gators had two chances to cut into the lead again, but both attempts fell short and Richard connected on one of two free throws to seal the 75-70 victory.
This evening's game was the end of the collegiate careers of four Gator seniors:
Tyler Brown,
Chad Delaney,
Griffin Reilly and
Daniel Trammel.
