Box Score  TURLOCK, Calif. –  Cal State Stanislaus won this weekend's series finale with the visitng SF State Gators, 8-0, behind the duo of Eli Davis and Keith McDaniels.  Davis drove in three runs and scored twice while McDaniels had 11 strikeouts as he improved to 2-2 on the year. 
Colton Beatty's two-run single in the bottom of the first inning gave the Warriors an early 2-0 lead.  Eli Davis and Ross Gonsalves led off the frame with back-to-back singles and then each stole a base.  Beatty then hit a 3-1 pitch to left center to drive in the game's first runs.
Cal State Stanislaus (25-17, 18-14 CCAA) added four more runs in the second inning with Davis' one-out two-run single to left center being the key hit of the inning.  The Warriors added two more runs in the third on a run scoring double by Joe Medeiros and a run scoring triple by Davis. 
McDaniels pitched 7 innings of four-hit ball while striking out 11 and walking two to pick up the win.  Phil Quade and Anthony Gottelli pitched the final two innings of the hosts.  Besides Davis, Gonsalves and Beatty each had two hits for the Warriors.
The Gators' 
Peter Reyes came in the fourth inning and shutdown the Warriors.  The freshman pitcher pitched five innings of scoreless ball while striking out three and walking two.  He gave up just two hits in the five innings of work. 
Trae Lopez (1-3) recorded the loss in the start for the guests.
Mark Lindsay had two of the Gators' five hits this afternoon.  With his two hits this afternoon, the freshman catcher/designated hitter now has hit safely in 24 of his last 30 games he has played in this season.  In game two of yesterday's doubleheader, Lindsay had his streak of 22 straight games of reaching base snapped as he went 0-for-2. 
The Gators (14-27, 11-21 CCAA) will return to the diamond this Friday, April 27 at 3pm, when they begin a four-game CCAA series with CSU San Bernardino for a single nine-inning game at 3pm at SF State's Maloney Field.
