SAN FRANCISCO--  The SF State Gators' men's basketball team will begin its second half of the CCAA season on the road this weekend with a pair of road games.  SF State will travel to Seaside, Calif., this Fri., Feb. 1 for a 7:30pm scheduled tip-off with Cal St. Monterey Bay. Then this Sat., Feb. 2, the Gators will travel to Hayward, Calif., for a 7:30pm scheduled contest with Cal State East Bay.  The Gators head into the second half of the conference season with a 9-7 overall record and a 7-5 record in the CCAA.  They are in a three-way tie for thrid place with Cal State L.A. and Chico State.

The Gators went 1-1 last weekend defeating UC San Diego 70-55 and losing 77-68 to Cal State San Bernardino at home.  The Gators are now 5-2 at home.  Three players are averaging double figures in scoring in Calvin Otiono (13.4 ppg), Decensae White (11.8 ppg) and William Overton, Jr. (11.3 ppg).  Otiono also leads the Gators with his 50 assists, 30 steals and 51% shooting from three's.

After this weekend, the Gators will return home for four of their next six games beginning on Feb. 8 when they host Chico State at The Swamp.
