SAN FRANCISCO--- The SF State Gators' women's basketball team will host their final two home games of the 2012-13 regular season this weekend. They will host Cal Poly Pomona this Friday, Feb. 22 and Humboldt State on Saturday, Feb. 23 with both games scheduled to start at 5:30pm PST at The Swamp. Prior to the game on Saturday, SF State will recognize its four seniors in
Michaela Booker,
Lyneeka Boyd,
Desiree Collins and
Nicole Hicks as it will be Senior Night.
The Gators are currently 11-11 overall and 8-10 in the CCAA after going 1-1 last weekend on the road. SF State lost 75-60 at Cal State L.A. and defeated Cal State Dominguez Hills 58-49. They currently sit in a tie for 7th place with Cal State San Bernardino and are one game out sixth place and two games out of ninth place. The top eight teams in the CCAA on March 1 will advance to the CCAA Basketball Championships. First round games are at the four highest seeds while the semi-final and final rounds are at the Citizens Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif.
After this weekend, the Gators will be on the road for their final two games of the regular season. They will travel to Cal State San Bernardino on Thurs., Feb. 28 and UC San Diego on Fri., Mar 1.
