SAN FRANCISCO--- The SF State Gators' baseball team will return to the diamond tomorrow afternoon at 2pm, when they travel to Rohnert Park, Calif., for a non-conference game wtih CCAA foe Sonoma State. Then this weekend, SF State will host Holy Names in a three-game series beginning this Friday, Feb. 8 at 2pm at Maloney Field. Games two and three will have 1pm starting times on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 9 and 10 respectively.
The Gators opened up their 2013 season this past weekend losing three games to Fresno Pacific (7-2, 5-2 and 3-2).
Grady Espinosa led the way with his .400 batting aveage in three games. He also posted a .500 on-base percentage and a .400 slugging percentage.
Zack Malik had six strikeouts and no walks in his debut start this past Saturday against FPU.
