SAN FRANCISCO---   The SF State Gator baseball team will host Cal Poly Pomona this weekend in a four-game series at Maloney Field beginning with a single nine-inning game this Friday, March 15 at 3pm.  SF State has won its last five-games in a row to improve to 5-7 in the CCAA and 8-12 overall.  Cal Poly Pomona is 14-9 overall and 7-9 in the CCAA after going 2-2 against Cal State Dominguez Hills this past weekend.

Grady Espinosa leads the team with his .342 batting average and .447 slugging percentage along with his 26 hits, 13 runs scored, 5 doubles and 6 stolen bases.  Espinosa is also tied with Miguel Flores with one home run and Mark Lindsay with 12 RBIs.  Zack Malik and Nolan Sheridan each have recorded a team best two wins and Peter Reyes has a team high four saves.  Malik also leads the team with his 22 strikeouts and 2.70 ERA.
