SAN FRANCISCO---  The SF State Gators advanced to the 2013 CCAA Basketball Championship Tournament Semi-finals by defeating Cal State L.A. 57-47 this past Tuesday evening in a First Round Game at The Swamp.  SF State will face the fifth ranked team in the nation, Cal Poly Pomona, in the first semi-final game this Friday, March 8 at 5:30 pm PST in Ontario, Calif., a the Citizens Business Bank Arena.  The two teams split their regular season series with the Broncos winning 66-46 in Pomona on Jan. 19 and SF State winning 59-57 on Feb. 22 in San Francisco.

The winner of the first semi-final game will face the winner of the second semi-final game (Cal State San Bernardino-Chico State) in the Championship game on Saturday, March 9 at 7:30pm PST.

The winner of the tournament will receive the conference's automatic bid to the 2013 NCAA Division II National Men's Basketball Championships.
