SAN FRANCISCO--- The SF State Gators will face Cal State Monterey Bay and Chico State this coming weekend in a pair of CCAA matches. This Friday, Oct. 4 at 12:30pm, the Gators will travel to Seaside, Calif., for a match with the Cal State Monterey Bay Otters. They will then return home this Sunday, Oct. 6 to host Chico State in a 11:30am starting match. The Gators are coming off a 1-1 weekend in which they defeated Cal State Stanislaus 2-0 and lost 1-0 to Cal State East Bay both on the road.

The Gators are now 3-4-1 overall and 2-3-1 in the CCAA, two points out of first place and tied for second place in the CCAA North Division. Sam Merritt leads SF State with his three goals and seven points (one assist). He is one of 9 Gators with at least one assist. Andrew Ogilvy had a team high two game-winning goals while Colt Reichl has posted a 0.97 goals against average in goal including three shutouts.

After this weekend, the Gators will face Humboldt State and Sonoma State on teh road on Oct. 11 and 13.
