SAN FRANCISCO--- The SF State Gators' volleyball team will return home this Friday and Saturday, October 4 and 5 to host Chico State and Cal State Stanislaus in a pair of CCAA matches at The Swamp. The Gators will host Chico State this Friday and Cal State Stanislaus this Saturday. Both matches are scheduled to begin at 7pm.

The Gators are coming off a 2-0 road weekend as they defeated Cal State L.A. in five and Cal State Dominguez Hills in four. SF State is 7-5 overall and 2-2 in the CCAA. Jacquie Brice leads the team with her 5 double-doubles while Meagan Wright has a team high 2.98 kills/set average and Kaileen Mejia has a team leading .375 hitting percentage. Brice also leads SF State with her 498 assists and Jessica Nicerio has a team high 15 service aces and 197 digs. Wright also leads the Gators with her 34 total blocks.

Saturday's match with Cal State Stanislaus is also the Gators' "Dig For a Cure Match" recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness month in the CCAA.

After this weekend, the Gators will have three matches next week. They will travel to Sonoma State on Oct. 9 and then return home to host Humboldt State and Cal Poly Pomona.
