SAN FRANCISCO---  After being on the road for the last five games, the SF State Gators will have their first home games of the 2014 New Year this weekend as they host a pair of CCAA games.  The Gators will host #9 Cal State San Bernardino this Friday, January 17 at 7:30pm at The Swamp.  Then this Saturday, January 18, the Gators will take on UC San Diego in a 7:30pm scheduled tip-off at The Swamp.

The Gators finished their season long road trip 3-2, going 1-1 this past weekend at Cal Poly Pomona (66-56 loss) and Humboldt State (82-73 win).  With the win at Humboldt State, the Gators improve to 7-4 overall and 5-3 in the CCAA.  They are now tied for fifth place with Cal State Stanislaus, one game out of third place and two games out of second place.  Nefi Perdomo leads the way with his 21.7 scoring average, 25 steals, 54% shooting from the field, 47% shooting from three's and 36 three's made.  

After this weekend, the Gators will go back on the road for their next four straight games beginning on Jan. 24 at Cal State Monterey Bay.
