SAN FRANCISCO--- Coming off a weekend sweep at home over Cal State Dominguez Hills (70-57) and Cal State L.A. (63-58), the SF State Gators will look to continue that momentum into this weeekend's home games with Humboldt State and #18 Cal Poly Pomona. The Gators are currently in a three-way tie for fourth place with Cal State L.A. and Cal State Stanislaus, two games out of third place. They will host the Lumberjacks this Friday, Feb. 14 and the Broncos this Saturday, Feb. 15. Game times for both games are set for 7:30pm at The Swamp.
In the Gators' 70-57 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills,
Nefi Perdomo had 23 points and
Max Fodor chipped in 10 points while they forced 23 turnovers. Then on Saturday, SF State defeated Cal State L.A. 63-58 behind Fodor's 15 points and 10 rebounds. There is just six games left in the regular season before the six-team CCAA Basketball Championship Tournament which begins on March 6 in Ontario, Calif.
The Gators will have their final road trip next weekend on Feb. 21 and 22 as they travel to Southern California. They will face UC San Diego in La Jolla on the 21st and Cal State San Bernardino on the 22nd in San Bernardino.
