SAN FRANCISCO---  The SF State Gators will return to the diamond this weekend for a three-game series with Holy Names University.  The two teams will begin the series with a single game in Oakland at Laney College with a scheduled first pitch at 6pm.  The series will move to SF State's Maloney Field for a single game scheduled for 1pm.  The three-game series will conclude at Laney College for a scheduled first pitch of 5:30pm.
SF State is 1-1 after splitting a doubleheader with Central Washington this past weekend.  The Gators defeated the Wildcats 4-1 and lost to them 5-3 in their home opener on Saturday.  
Preston Tarter picked up the win and 
Cory Davis had the save.  
Mark Lindsay drove in two of the Gators' seven runs while 
Dillon Meyer and 
Garrett Heisinger each scored two runs apiece.  
After this weekend, SF State will return to the diamond for a three-game series with Fresno Pacific on the road in Fresno on Feb. 14-15.
