SAN FRANCISCO--- After being off since March 9, the SF State Gators will return to the diamond for a four-game CCAA home-away series with Sonoma State. The series will begin with a 2pm starting single game this Friday in Rohnert Park. The two teams will then face each other in a 11am starting doubleheader on Saturday in San Francisco. The series finale will be this Sunday, March 23 at 12pm in Rohnert Park.
The Gators are currently 12-10 overall and 7-5 in the CCAA, which places them in 5th place in the conference. SF State is led by
Cory Davis' 0.42 ERA wthi a 2-0 record and 7 saves. Four other Gators have recorded at least two wins in
Ryan Bohnet,
Nolan Sheridan,
Taylor Wade and
Jack Veronin.
Mark Lindsay leads the team with his 12 runs batted in and 24 hits while
Dillon Meyer and
Garrett Heisinger each have three doubles.
Nick Jackson has stolen a team leading 5 bases and
Grady Espinosa has scored a team high 14 runs.
After their four-game series with Sonoma State, the Gators will return to the diamond next weekend for a four-game series at No. 11 Chico State.
