SAN FRANCISCO--- After being on the road for their last 9 games, the SF State Gators will return home this Friday to begin an eight-game home stand. The Gators will start the home stand with a four-game series against Cal State L.A. this weekend. The series will begin with a single nine-inning game this Friday at 3pm at Maloney Field. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 12pm. The series will conclude with a single game this Sunday at 11am.
Prior to the game on Friday, the SF State Alumni Association will be hosting a pre-game party with free food and music.
Dillon Meyer leads SF State with his .307 batting average while
Grady Espinosa has a team high 34 hits.
Carter Loud has driven in a team leading 15 runs and
Nick Jackson has stolen a team high 8 stolen bases.
Garrett Heisinger leads the team with his four doubles and one triple while Espinosa has one home run. SF State's pitching staff is led by
Cory Davis with his 3.00 ERA and 8 saves.
Nolan Sheridan has a team high 26 strikeouts. Sheridan, Davis,
Taylor Wade,
Jack Veronin,
Ryan Bohnet and
Preston Tarter each have two wins on the mound for SF State.
