CHICO, Calif. — The San Francisco State baseball team's four-game series at No. 9 Chico State has been rescheduled due to rain this weekend.

The three-day series, originally scheduled to begin on Friday, March 1, will now consist of a pair of noon doubleheaders on Sunday, March 4 and Monday, March 5.

The Wildcats enter the series 4-2 in CCAA play after taking three of four from Sonoma State while the Gators stand at 3-5 in CCAA play. The Gators split the conference opener at No. 7 UC San Diego but dropped three of four at home to Stanislaus State.

SF State is led by Matthew Hernandez, who has struck out 25 batters in 19.0 innings of work. The senior was named both the CCAA Pitcher of the Week and the NCBWA West Region Pitcher of the Week for the week of Feb. 12-18.
