SAN FRANCISCO — Due to unplayable field conditions as a result of recent rain storms, the baseball series between San Francisco State and Chico State has been rescheduled.

The hope was that the two teams would be able to play in San Francisco. However, Maloney Field sits under sea level and has not dried out from the nearly two weeks worth of rain. The two teams will now face off at Nettleton Stadium in Chico on Sunday, February 24 at Noon at 3 p.m., although the Gators will remain as the home team on the schedule. The final two games of the series will be played in the later part of the season in San Francisco with the exact date to be determined.
