Glosser was a pitcher/first baseman for the SF State baseball team from 1958-61, finishing with a 15-3 record for 1960-61. During his Gator career, Glosser boasted a 1.27 ERA from the mound.
In the 1961 season, Glosser helped the Gators become the Far West Conference champions while earning All-Far West Conference champions while earning All-Far West Conference honors. including Far West Conference Player of the Year. He went on to also receive All-American recognition.
After his collegiate playing days, Glosser began coaching in 1961 at Aptos Junior High School in San Francisco and has also coached at the high school and collegiate levels. He also refereed football for high school and college competitions and was a member of the NFL Instant Replay from 1999 to 2001
